Stress and Psoriasis
After years of dealing with Psoriasis, reading and studying all about the disease, I've come to a number of conclusions:
- Psoriasis can he helped by internal and external medications, but in almost all cases it does not go into permanent remission from medications.
- Food intake and diet can affect Psoriasis, but not as much as stress.
- Stress can make Psoriasts flare faster that anything I've seen.
Because stress can be such a fast trigger for Psoriasis, I've found the best way to control Psoriasis is first using the safest and most effective medical treatments. You can learn about treatments on this website. After that, I'm slightly careful what I eat. Most importantly, stress reduction is essential in my opinion to keep Psoriasis under control. These three books below are excellent and all a bit different. I would recommend clicking on each of the links below and previewing the books before choosing one or two, with Amazon.com's look inside feature.
