How I Healed My Psoriasis (Sent in Anonymous)
I contracted Psoriasis when I was 32 years old. My younger son one day brought to my notice a small patch on the backside of my neck. Later this patch spread to my arms and back. I became very embarrassed about my Psoriasis. The disease further aggravated to Pustular Psoriasis and I was hospitalized.
All the time I was trying to hide myself from others. I used to sit on the back benches in the church and line up at the end in grocery stores. I used to try to hide the affected portions of my skin.
Fortunately my Psoriasis was diagnosed well in time. After taking medication now it is under control. I resist from itching or picking my skin. I even do not rub it vigorously with a towel. I use medicated soap and use moisturizing creams in plenty. I also wear cotton clothes.
I keep busy to divert my mind from Psoriasis. I cook, attend to house hold jobs, and yoga classes in the evenings. If I am doing nothing else, I think of my family and children rather than Psoriasis. I would advise all Psoriasis patients to find mental strength to fight the disease. You must obtain a proper diagnosis before commencing treatment.
